Internship Opportunities

The mission of Clear Lake Bank & Trust is to be the preferred financial services resource, providing a community-focused culture of engagement & inclusion; always seeking to understand employee, customer, & community needs. CLB&T is also a leader within the communities it serves. At CLB&T, we focus on building relationships. Our goal is for each of our interns to receive a well-rounded introduction to community banking and the possibility of one day becoming a team member at CLB&T.

Our goal is to engage interns in meaningful work, educate them in the field of community banking, and encourage growth. 

We will begin hiring for our 2025 summer interns in January of 2025, please check back for updates

Clear Lake Bank & Trust is a community bank. We don’t just sponsor, we give our time as well. Employees are involved in local organizations, volunteer for local events, and prioritize volunteering into their work schedules. Community outreach and volunteer opportunities are also available to interns who want to engage with community leaders. 

Interns may be asked work in more than one of our locations. CLB&T locations are in the following communities: Clear Lake, Mason City, and Garner, Iowa

Typical Work Schedule

• Approximately 25-35 hours per week between the hours of 7:30-5:15 M-F
• Saturdays 7:30 AM - 12:00 Noon - every other Saturday rotation throughout the summer
• Candidates will be expected to be able to be flexible with scheduling based upon the needs of the Bank

The internship would begin in mid-May and continue through mid-August.
